Sunshine and Subtropical Temperatures
If you’re into nature, the Treasure Coast will make it hard to ever want to go indoors. The warm South Florida sunshine, average temperatures in the mid-seventies and some of the best weather in the nation, create the perfect environment for fun, whether it’s for a daytrip to go paddleboarding or a weeklong camping excursion.
In the Spring, cool off with a dip into the ocean at one of the region’s uncrowded beaches. Even in the winter months, the Treasure Coast boasts a comfortable climate — extending the opportunities you’ll have to enjoy the region’s many outdoor activities even further.

The Outdoors are Calling
With temperatures varying between the low 60s and high 80s year-round, there’s always a reason to get outside on the Treasure Coast. Vero Beach was ranked as the No. 4 Best Weather City in the Nation and is the No. 7 Best Small Beach Town in Florida for its protected wildlife lagoons and unspoiled beaches.
Qualified Emergency Response
In the event of an emergency, the Treasure Coast is well-prepared with resources, from pet and special needs sheltering to state-sponsored relief funds. Cities throughout St. Lucie, Martin and Indian River counties provide detailed checklists and evacuation plans while Florida Disaster maintains a $7 million Hurricane Loss Mitigation relief fund to assist individuals recovering from emergency impacts.
