Year-round outdoor activities, un-explored wildlife habitats, seasonal local festivals and kid-friendly theatres and museums, make your family’s move to the Treasure Coast a no-brainer. And, adventures like Kids Quest, which invites young buccaneers and their parents to explore the Treasure Coast’s three counties, highlights this region’s trove of family-friendly treasures.

Explore Family-Friendly Entertainment
Whether you’re paddleboarding across 21 miles of un-spoiled beaches, fishing at Indian RiverSide Park or exploring the region as a whole with Kids Quest — a three-county guide to the most family-friendly activities — there’s always something for the whole family to do on the Treasure Coast.
You could take the kids to Riverside Theatre at Vero Beach and let them tap into their theatrical side or visit Clover Park in Port St. Lucie to see them catch their first fly ball from the New York Mets during spring training. The Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast at Jensen Beach also invites kids to think, play and create through hands-on experiences at their state-of-the-art center.
Raise the Odds of Success
Looking to help your kids blossom into successful adults? Treasure Coast K-12 schools are some of the highest rated in a state and boast strong academic achievement. In 2021, Indian River County Schools, St. Lucie County Schools and Martin County Schools had 95%, 94.5% and 94.1% graduation rates, respectively. And, many of the schools in the region also offer a wide range of technical education courses, preparing students for the next phase of their adventure at its very start.
Broadening the Horizons
Once they graduate from high school, the kids don’t have far to go to get an amazing secondary education. Indian River State College, Keiser University and Florida State Institute College of Medicine are just three of the amazing higher education institutions situated right in the region.
